This customer was very detail-oriented and wanted to understand the science behind solar energy. He was also seriously concerned about hail damage. We were able to reassure him that the Solar panels we would install were actually tougher than most shingle and tile roofs. (See “Hail Yeah! Solar Panels Can Withstand Hail” blog for more on this.) Nonetheless, because he has a large property, our customer chose to go with a ground-mount system rather than a rooftop one. He was impressed with our knowledge of solar technology and the solar industry, and he tells us that that he is extremely happy with the system. We love to educate our customers about how solar photovoltaics—to use the technical term—turn sunlight into electricity.
